Not Bad...
Sep. 7th, 2005 11:35 pmSlipped the party a fast one in Eberron tonight. Played their last experience with Ogre Magi to get them to slaughter a bunch of Paladin Ogres. The faces they made when they realized what was going on as the selfless acts of the ogres showed them to be more villainous than the "monsters". Was good fun.
And with Regen... not one of the ogres really died.
Heh.
All and all it was fun... the combat was nice length... and the players were happy. Still not sure what this means for Thursday nights. I have had a game almost every Thursday since CU. So that's pretty much 11 years of gaming on Thursday. I still will be running 2.5 games a week so I am not adding a new one but... a break with a good pattern like this is... more than a bit strange.
Oh well... as I have said to a couple cool guys lately... change is good.
