Long Night
Mar. 5th, 2004 01:16 pmGame was good last night. Placed the party in the ancient homeworld of the Kree around the time of Skrull first contact. Don and I actually hung out after game for the first time in a long time.
On the trip over to Dee's we found out the whole chain was bought out. A Utah tradition thats been in every part of my life and by the end of May they will all be torn down. I really kinda caught me off guard. Funny how easy it is to get attached to a place.
We went over to Smith's around 1:30 a.m. and did some grocery shopping which mostly consisted of me telling him to buy Easter candy because he likes it but doesn't want to admit it because they are so bad for you.
We came back and talked to the wee hours of the morning and then I finished my comics. They were all pretty cool, I am really liking Austen's run on Uncanny. Finally gave up the ghost around 4:30 a.m., slept til almost 12:30 p.m. and was brought to conciousness by some lovely sex dreams.
In other news, the Utah Bear Group is rising from the ashes it seems. Maybe the state can recoup some coolness factors after all.
